The SmartSolar solar charge controller processes energy from solar panels and stores it in batteries, maximizing solar gains, intelligently maintaining battery status, and extending its lifespan. The SmartSolar solar charge controller can even recharge a deeply discharged battery, as it can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.

Main features:

Ultra-fast MPPT technology:
The controller continuously monitors the voltage and current from the solar panels and, thanks to MPPT technology, extracts maximum energy from them, which is particularly beneficial with varying sunlight intensity. MPPT technology provides up to 30% higher energy gain compared to PWM solar controllers and up to 10% higher gain compared to slower MPPT controllers.

Remote monitoring and control:
If your installation is connected to the internet via a GX device, the VRM portal provides access to your devices anytime, anywhere.

Load output:
The intelligent Load output function prevents batteries from discharging below critical levels. You can configure the voltage at which the SmartSolar will disconnect the load, thereby preventing excessive battery discharge. The BatteryLife function keeps the battery in good condition and extends its lifespan.

Built-in Bluetooth:
Thanks to built-in Bluetooth, you can pair the SmartSolar solar charge controller with your smartphone or other device via the VictronConnect app to set up, monitor, or update the system.

VE.Direct connector:
VE.Direct is used to connect to a GX device, PC, or other devices.
