Renogy CORE DC-DC 12V/20A

The Renogy CORE DC-DC 12V/20A is a DC-DC charger designed for charging a service battery from an alternator while driving. It is suitable for RVs, vans, caravans, utility vehicles, and boats.

The charger works with both conventional and smart alternators and supports various types of service batteries, including AGM, gel, and lithium. Thanks to its controlled 3-stage charging, it ensures proper and safe battery recharging while on the move.

Smart 3-Stage Charging

Charging occurs automatically in three stages: Bulk, Boost, and Float. This allows the charger to adapt the charging process to the battery's condition and help ensure it is properly charged.

Starter Battery Protection

The Renogy CORE is compatible with both conventional and smart alternators. Using the D+ signal, it detects when the engine is running and only starts charging when the engine is started. This helps protect the starter battery from unwanted discharge.

The D+ cable is not included in the package.

Safe Operation

The charger uses an isolated input and output and is equipped with electronic protections for safe operation of the vehicle's electrical system.

Temperature Compensation

With an optional temperature sensor, the charger can adjust charging based on battery temperature. This helps optimize charging, especially for lead-acid batteries.

The temperature sensor is not included in the package and is not intended for use with lithium batteries.
