The SmartSolar charge controller processes energy from solar panels and stores it in batteries, maximizing solar gains, intelligently maintaining battery status, and extending battery life. The SmartSolar can also charge deeply discharged batteries, as it can operate with battery voltages as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.
