💡 Practical tip: When I first installed it, I thought it was enough to just press the material by hand. Only after consulting with a Comfortmat dealer did I realize that the material really needs to be thoroughly rolled with a pressure roller until the indentations in the aluminum foil almost disappear. Only then does the butyl layer adhere perfectly to the sheet metal and the anti-vibration material works as it should.
